My name is Tara Pearson, and I am the CEO and Leader of The Thick Girl Gang. The Thick Girl Gang is a wonderful organization that was created to increase awareness regarding body positivity. But TGG is not about how clothes fit. It is an organization built to empower women of color. The plan of The Thick Girl Gang is to not only decrease body dysmorphic ideas, but to also increase self-esteem and change the negative ways we see ourselves.
